All around great game but Aube-Kubel’s best game as a Flyer. Good to see Couts and Giroux with big games. Nice bounce by Elliot and really the whole team. Didn’t notice Frost much one way or the other. |

Congrats are in order to Giroux for hitting 800 points. Regardless of anyone’s opinion on him, to get to that milestone in this current era is pretty impressive. Here’s to hoping he hits a few more in a Flyers sweater. |

Pretty clear G needs to be at wing. Grats on a career mark! Less than 50 points to claim 3rd from Propp now.
What a game by NAK, too. And hey, 9/10 FO from Frost can really help keep Giroux at LW.
Solid game, fellas. |

Great way to rebound after the terrible loss to NJ. It's nice to be able to roll 4 lines that can actually contribute. Frost played well and was was great in face offs. The Islanders, Panthers and Columbus lost tonight, but Carolina came back to beat Vegas in a shootout. That puts the Flyers just out of the 2nd Wild card slot w 67 points. Getting some points in the next 3 games ( NY Islanders, Florida and Florida ) could put the Flyers in 3rd place? The Flyers won't catch the Caps and are 6 points behind the Pens, so in reality, the Flyers are shooting for 3rd place in the division.
The kids are holding there own ( NAK, Frost, ). It's nice not having bottom 6 guys like Lehtera, Knight, Weise on the team.
Another Flyers site said that Ghost left in the middle of practice and threw his stick in the stands in frustration. No info if his knee was causing problems again? Maybe the Flyers should have given him a couple rehab games in LHV, instead of putting him on the ice so soon? I still think Hagg is playing well enough to see plenty of ice time. |

Not sure I've ever seen Couturier this confident offensively. He cuts to openings, snaps passes, and fires pucks with no hesitation at all -- with extreme precision.
What a beast he's become. |

Flyers keep winning the games I don't get to watch. I think I'm just going to watch the Pens and Habs for the rest of the year lol. |

I am almost certain that Wayne Simmonds had at least one, maybe two Gordie Howe Hattys while he was with the Flyers. |

Great game by the team's top players. Giroux had his best game of the season and was a force. That is what we need from him. The team will follow. |

Keep ghost stapled to the bench. Let him throw tantrums if he wants. Hagg is playing too well and brings needed physicality and shot blocking |

Nah, Gostisbehere was playing well before his injury. If Gostisbehere was fully up to speed, Myers would've sat last night based on his play in the Devils game in my opinion. |

I’d rather keep Myers right stick in the lineup and have him sub out with hagg on the 3rd pair |

Right handed or not if Myers loses puck battles with lackadaisical play and lets players right up the middle for goals, the side he shoots from doesn't matter.

Up next...FLA, NYI, FLA
It’s about gaining points and therefore preventing gains from opponents in direct competition to our playoff spot. The Islanders game is particularly important because of the stacked Metro.

Canes look strong 💪 like Brind’Amour. Looking at how the Metro teams are trending. Isles could be the weak link. |

🐆 emptied their bank for average ex flyer goaltending. Sadly the flyer exes usually breaks out of a slump, or stand on their head vs the flyers. |

Preseason predictions, I had the Panthers as the last wildcard in the EC, now I have them missing by the most points of a non-playoff team. Of course, Flyers need some points here to make it possible.
That will be sad for the Panthers, and the playoffs format doesn’t work. However, as long as the Flyers make it, I’m not gonna cry.

Well, of course, Coots!!
The one comment reported he didn't see a lot of Frost's efforts.
The other day I stated that I use a rapid watch method to get through BAD games. Last night, not so much. I saw a lot of slick little moves Frost made. Not dramatic game changing stuff but smooth puck retaining wizard stuff. Some hits!
It seems that getting the pulse of this team is like tracking tachycardia in a cheetah. It's up, it's down!
Here's for the seventy MPH version.
